Job summary

The Apparel Sales Associate at Roger Dunn Golf Shops in Santa Ana, CA is responsible for promoting a store culture focused on the customer experience and our “Sure No Problem” philosophy. You will greet customers, engage with them, and assist in in-store merchandising and signage to create appealing displays.

This role supports various departments, requires standing for long periods, and offers a base pay plus commission with flexible hours for part-time employment. Golf knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or move about the departments within the store (standing/bending/lifting up to 15 pounds).
• Working knowledge of basic office software and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of golf product knowledge, promotions, and signage; assist in multiple departments as needed.
• Move product to the sales floor from receiving areas and assist with markdowns and clearance per guidelines.
• Assess customer needs, make recommendations, and use apparel knowledge to aid decisions.
• Check merchandise availability via computer database and coordinate stock from stockroom.
• Maintain shipping/receiving records and stock files.
• Suggest process improvements once trained; perform other duties as assigned by management.
