Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking a Mill Operator to assist in the operation of the processing plant, including grinding, gravity separation, flotation, leaching/CIP, elution, and tailings filtration. The role supports the Mill Supervisor and involves basic equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and teamwork at a remote Alaska site.

On-site rotation is 21 days on/off, with extended hours up to 12+ hours, remote camping, and company-provided facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work unsupervised and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Safely start up, operate, and shut down all equipment in the work area.
• Troubleshoot and correct circuit and equipment problems.
• Record and maintain operator log sheets.
• Identify and report machinery maintenance needs.
• Perform mechanical tasks within training scope.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and pre-shift inspections.
• Train other operators and communicate effectively for continuity.
