AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Gold Processing Specialist to lead metallurgical studies in Henderson, NV. The role targets robust, operable process designs informed by site experience, focusing on gold processing plants and cross-disciplinary team leadership.

The candidate will develop, review, and optimize flowsheets covering crushing, grinding, leaching, and refining concepts, while providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers. Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in mineral processing with strong gold processing focus.
• Experience leading process activities for studies/projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as Process Lead for gold processing studies and projects.
• Develop and optimize gold processing flowsheets (crushing/grinding, leaching, CIL/CIP/CIC).
• Lead design activities for studies (PFS/FS) including criteria, simulations, and sizing.
• Mentor junior engineers and interface with management and stakeholders.
• Review metallurgical testwork and integrate results into design.
• Support site activities: commissioning, troubleshooting, optimization.
