Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) seeks a Guest Services Representative/Cage Cashier at Gold Dust West Carson City to support guest services, handle cash transactions, and ensure compliance with gaming regulations.

The role involves assisting with vault duties, deposits, and comp entries while delivering personalized service to guests. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be fluent in English, and able to read.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be fluent in English and able to read.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Must be identified to establish right to work in the United States and be Nevada Gaming Control Board registered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining vault in compliance with Gaming guidelines.
• Prepare the daily bank deposits of currency, checks, and coins.
• Maintain a cash bank inventory to provide cash quickly for play.
• Input and process comp entries for casino players.
• Routinely cash checks and submit shift paperwork to Revenue Audit.
• Provide personalized guest services and maintain familiarity with events and promotions.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in maintaining vault in compliance with Gaming guidelines
• Assist in preparing the daily bank deposit of currency, checks, coin, and other items
• Maintain a cash bank inventory to provide customers with cash and coin expeditiously so they may play slot machines or table games
• Maintain and complete all required paperwork
• Provide personalized services to guests
• Issue and enter in IGS dinner, hotel, and other comps for all qualified casino players
• Be familiar with all current and upcoming special events, promotions, entertainment as well as all casino activities
• Maintain familiarity with the internal Company expectations and procedures
• Maintain familiarity with Gaming Regulations and ICMP’s
• Routinely cash checks
• Ensures daily paperwork from shift is submitted to Revenue Audit at completion of shift.
• Verifies or coordinates the verification of hard and soft counts into the Coin Room Inventory

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
• Must be fluent in English
• Ability to read
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to use 10-key
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
• Registered with Nevada Gaming Control Board
