Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in New York, NY seeks a Golang Technical Lead to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services. You will lead backend architecture, build scalable microservices, and drive API-first development using Go.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, leveraging AWS cloud services, implementing CI/CD, and ensuring secure, cost-efficient deployments. You will collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Golang development.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong API, JSON, and gRPC understanding.
• Proficient Git and version control practices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of software design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend Go applications.
• Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and background workers.
• Utilize AWS services to deploy and monitor cloud-native apps.
• Implement CI/CD using CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product in agile teams.
• Write clean code and conduct reviews.
• Ensure secure, scalable, cost-efficient cloud architecture.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Use Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
