Job summary

Tech Mirrors in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced GoLang Tech Lead with 8+ years of hands-on development to design and steer backend systems. You will own microservices, APIs, and cloud-native patterns, collaborating with DevOps and frontend teams in a hybrid work setup.

The role emphasizes performance, scalability, and fault tolerance, with a focus on PostgreSQL databases, REST and gRPC APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Golang 6+ years hands-on development.
Strong PostgreSQL experience: design, indexing, optimization.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Testing and debugging with unit/integration tests.
Git and collaborative workflows.
Frontend collaboration with TS/React/Node.js is a plus.

Responsibilities

Backend development: design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs using Go.
Database management with PostgreSQL, optimization and high availability.
API design and integration via RESTful and gRPC interfaces.
Code quality, performance, unit testing, and CI/CD integration.
Exception handling, debugging and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with frontend teams using TypeScript for API integration.
Focus on scalability, security, and fault tolerance in cloud environments.
Work with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, and frontend engineers.
