Socket.dev is seeking a Mid-Senior Backend Developer who lives and breathes Golang to build scalable APIs and services that handle hundreds of thousands of requests per second in a fully containerized Kubernetes environment.

You will own end-to-end development from research to deployment, contribute to architectural decisions, and work on an early-stage project with real-time data processing, large-scale data traffic, and a culture that values practical, hands-on problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Go and concurrent programming.
• Experience with real-time data processing and event streaming.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Commitment to writing tests and documentation.
