Job summary

Topgolf is seeking a Software Engineer to power our guest experience by building robust backend services in Go and interactive frontend components in Vue.js. You will design APIs, craft clear specifications, and implement features across the stack in a collaborative engineering team.

You will use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation, testing, and reviews, while contributing to testing, logging, and reliability across venues and digital products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building backend services in Go.
• 2+ years building front-end applications with Vue.js.
• 1+ years working with AI-assisted development tools in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in Go.
• Build and maintain responsive, user-facing features with Vue.js.
• Define and implement API contracts between front-end and back-end services.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues, implement logging and monitoring practices.
• Write specs and design docs to guide implementation before coding.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate implementation, testing, and code review.
