GO Tutor Corps is offering a Teacher Residency program designed to place Residents in partner schools where you will gain hands-on classroom experience under mentorship, while pursuing an MAT and teaching certification. The 1–2 year residency blends graduate coursework with practice, coaching, and daily instruction.

Residents receive a $22,000 stipend (prorated) during the program year and access housing support, housing options, ongoing coaching, and a clear pathway into a full-time teaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA required.
• Pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) or obtaining teaching certification.
• Commitment to pursuing a career in public education long-term.

Responsibilities

• Co-teach and support instruction in a partner school classroom.
• Collaborate closely with a Mentor Teacher and school staff.
• Plan and implement lessons and targeted instruction as skills develop.
• Participate in observations and feedback sessions and complete graduate coursework.
