Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Go (Golang) Engineer to join a high-performance ecosystem focused on integration and channels. You will write production-grade Go with a strong emphasis on concurrency, design low-latency APIs, and develop robust connectors to external systems and webhooks.

Key responsibilities include building transactional messaging systems, managing PostgreSQL/Redis connections, and delivering well-tested code with unit tests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production Go experience with concurrency (Goroutines, Channels, Context)
• Experience building low-latency REST/gRPC APIs
• Experience with multi-format file processing pipelines
• Proven connectors to external systems and webhooks
• Experience with transactional messaging/queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS)
• Database experience with PostgreSQL/Redis
• Strong unit testing and mocking
• English proficiency at B2+ level

Responsibilities

• Write production-grade Go with a focus on concurrency and performance
• Design low-latency APIs for ingestion and streaming
• Build robust connectors to external systems and dynamic webhooks
• Implement transactional messaging to ensure order delivery
• Manage database connections for resiliency and consistency
• Maintain well-tested code with unit tests and mocks
• Collaborate with Solution Architect on tech choices
• Support backend services and back-office interfaces
