Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a mid-career Software Engineer II in Atlanta, GA to join a platform engineering team building scalable, cloud-native services. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from development to release automation, contributing to CI/CD, tooling, and platform operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Software Eng.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience in Linux or macOS environment.
• Proficiency in Golang and modern programming concepts.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, operate, and continuously improve platform engineering solutions.
• Own technical problems end-to-end and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to product and platform roadmaps with focus on performance, reliability, and observability.
• Participate in root cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Follow engineering standards and mentor others where possible.
