Job summary

Saige Partners is seeking a GNSS Test Engineer for a contract role in the San Jose area. You will support GNSS performance testing, hardware bring-up, and verification in a lab environment while collaborating with modem and GNSS software teams.

The role emphasizes Python automation development, data processing, and log analysis to drive test efficiency. Candidates should have 2+ years of lab experience and hands-on RF/test equipment familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Telecommunications, EE, or related field.
• 2+ years lab experience testing mobile devices or wireless tech.
• Familiarity with LTE and 5G NR (NSA/SA).
• Hands-on testing with Keysight, Spirent, or Rohde & Schwarz.
• Python scripting for test automation and data processing.
• Log analysis and network-side debugging.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to provide on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Perform GNSS performance tests and analyze KPIs.
• Support hardware bring-up and verification tests.
• Develop and maintain Python automation for test execution and data processing.
• Collaborate with modem, GNSS, RF teams to resolve issues.
• Document findings and report to engineering teams.
• Manage multiple testing tasks and meet deadlines.
