Job description

Do you want to be part of oneNav’s disruptive next-generation GNSS products that are resilient in the field? We are seeking a hands‑on technical deep GNSS Signal Processing Systems Engineer for our Advanced Products & Systems team to realize oneNav’s goals. You will design anti‑jamming and anti‑spoofing algorithms, build working solutions, analyze KPIs, and collaborate across hardware and software teams to bring prototypes to production. Success in this role requires strong technical depth, independent thinking, and effective collaboration in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement beamforming and spatial‑filtering algorithms (e.g., MVDR, LCMV, adaptive nulling) to suppress jammers.
  • Apply statistical detection and estimation theory (Bayesian estimation, hypothesis testing) to jammer/spoofer detection, classification, and mitigation.
  • Develop and validate countermeasures against commonly encountered interference types, including CW, chirp, and other structured/unstructured jamming and spoofing signals.
  • Contribute to system‑level architecture for next‑generation resilient PNT products, evaluating trade‑offs across HW, FW, and SW in close collaboration with RF and ASIC teams for low SWaP‑C implementation.
  • Build prototypes and drive them to measurable KPIs such as J/S performance across In‑Band/Out‑of‑Band, Acquisition, Tracking, and Re‑acquisition.
  • Translate algorithm designs into production‑quality embedded code alongside the software team, adhering to established coding standards.
  • Contribute to advanced initiatives applying machine learning to jammer/spoofer classification and mitigation alongside classical estimation approaches.
  • M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Applied Math, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in GNSS, Radar, or RF signal processing, with direct experience in beamforming/array processing, anti‑jam, anti‑spoof, or interference mitigation.
  • Strong theoretical grounding in statistical signal processing and estimation and detection theory, adaptive filtering, array processing
  • Demonstrated experience designing algorithms for real‑world interference scenarios.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C/C++ for algorithm development, with experience taking algorithms from simulation to hardware/embedded validation.
  • Strong understanding of HW/FW/SW boundary constraints, including ADC/RF front‑end parameters, timing, and low SWaP‑C feasibility.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with GNSS receiver internals, including acquisition, tracking, RFI mitigation, or custom GNSS ASICs.
  • Knowledge of advanced ML techniques applied to signals in non‑Gaussian noise channels or RF/sensor domain classification problems.
  • Hands‑on experience with custom PCB build considerations, component selection, signal probing, and hardware interface troubleshooting.
  • Experience utilizing advanced simulation and measurement equipment for interference testing.
What We Offer:
  • A multicultural, international team and a collaborative, flat culture
  • Project‑based global work and exposure to cutting‑edge L5‑direct™ GNSS and AI technologies
  • A true start‑up environment with innovation time, fast decision‑making, and direct access to leadership
  • Career growth through regular development discussions, training, and high‑visibility opportunities
  • Competitive compensation with stock options to share in oneNav's long‑term success
  • Startup‑style perks, team events, and a friendly, supportive environment
