Job summary

oneNav, Inc. is seeking a hands-on GNSS Signal Processing Systems Engineer for the Advanced Products & Systems team in Sunnyvale.

You will design anti‑jamming and anti‑spoofing algorithms, build working solutions, and collaborate across hardware and software teams to move prototypes toward production. Requirements include 5+ years in GNSS/RF signal processing, strong math, proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C/C++, and experience in beamforming and interference mitigation.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Applied Math, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years hands-on GNSS/RF signal processing with beamforming/anti-jam/anti-spoof experience.
• Strong grounding in statistical signal processing and estimation/detection theory.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C/C++ for algorithm development and hardware/embedded validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement beamforming and spatial-filtering algorithms to suppress jammers.
• Apply Bayesian estimation and hypothesis testing to jammer/spoofer detection and mitigation.
• Develop and validate countermeasures against interference types (CW, chirp, structured/unstructured).
• Contribute to system-level architecture across HW/FW/SW for resilient PNT products.
• Build prototypes and drive them to measurable KPIs (J/S, Acquisition, Tracking).
• Translate designs into production-quality embedded code with established coding standards.
• Explore ML approaches for jammer/spoofer classification alongside classical methods.
• Collaborate with RF and ASIC teams to ensure low SWaP-C feasibility.
