Job summary

Footbridge Federal seeks an experienced network engineer to remotely configure, manage, and troubleshoot critical DoD networks in a 24x7 on-site operations environment in the United States. You will diagnose Layer 2 VLANs and Layer 3 routing issues, plus advanced MPLS WAN troubleshooting.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI Polygraph, DoD 8140 IAT II, and hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, or Brocade/Foundry OS. Familiarity with ServiceNow and Visio is essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Compliance with DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification requirements.
• 10 years of combined education and experience (e.g., Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, or a High School diploma with 10 years of experience).
• Practical experience with Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, or Brocade/Foundry operating systems.
• Strong understanding of OSI layers 1, 2, and 3.
• Familiarity with routing protocols and network technologies, including OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, and GRE.
• Experience using ServiceNow for ticketing and Microsoft Visio for network diagramming.

Responsibilities

• Remotely configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices using command-line interfaces.
