Job summary

Footbridge Federal seeks a senior IT systems engineer to translate requirements into secure, scalable infrastructure. You will design and deploy enterprise RHEL environments, automate management and provisioning, and lead vulnerability remediation across large systems. A TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required.

The role emphasizes DISA STIG compliance, exposure to multiple automation tools, and collaboration with defense and federal clients to ensure mission-critical IT readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT systems engineering across multi-platform environments.
• 4+ years hands-on design, deployment, and securing RHEL (v6–9).
• Practical experience applying DISA SRG and STIG in classified environments.
• Expertise with RHEL automation tools: Ansible Platform/Tower or Satellite.
• Proficiency with vulnerability management tools: ACAS, SCAP, Tenable.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• Compliance with DoD 8140/CSWF intermediate level standards (or willingness to obtain).
