Job summary

Relative Dynamics is seeking a GNC Software Engineer to join a fast-paced, space-focused team. You will develop, test, and peer review GNC flight software in C and C++, and collaborate with software and hardware groups on lunar mission projects from Houston or Glen Burnie.

You’ll analyze 6-DOF simulations, work with navigation sensors such as IMU and Star Trackers, and contribute to GN&C development for a satellite while embracing agile processes and cross-disciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Hands-on navigation sensor hardware experience and Kalman filtering.
• Real-time software development experience in C/C++ or Python.
• Familiarity with GN&C hardware such as IMU, Star Trackers, GPS, and LIDAR.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and peer review GNC flight software in C and C++.
• Perform trajectory and navigation analysis for lunar missions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional software and hardware teams.
• Execute 6-DOF simulations to evaluate on-orbit performance.
• Support sensor integration, HWIL testing, and mission verification.
