This high-impact role entails owning the navigation architecture for the RAIDER 330 UAS, developing GNC algorithms, and validating performance in challenging environments. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering, over three years of GNC engineering experience, and proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink. Qualifications
3+ years of GNC engineering experience on aerospace, defense, or UAS platforms.
Demonstrated experience developing and validating navigation filters (EKF, UKF).
Familiarity with 6-DOF rigid body dynamics and flight mechanics.
Responsibilities
Develop and tune GNC algorithms for the RAIDER 330 UAS.
Build and maintain a high-fidelity simulation environment in MATLAB/Simulink.
Integrate and evaluate navigation sensors into a cohesive solution.
Skills
Expert-level proficiency in MATLAB
Expert-level proficiency in Simulink
Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++
Strong foundation in estimation theory
Experience with GPS-denied navigation techniques
Strong analytical skills
Education
