Job summary

KODA Technologies is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our Huntsville, AL team. The role specializes in modeling and simulating a complex aerospace vehicle, with an active DoD Secret clearance required.

You will design and integrate GNC models, verify simulations, and support HWIL activities. Collaborate with software and flight dynamics teams to deliver robust vehicle-level simulations for advanced technology demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary STEM degree required.
• 5–10+ years of relevant experience.
• Willing to work onsite in a classified area or lab environment.
• Experience with MATLAB for GNC analysis and simulation development.

Responsibilities

• Design and documentation of model and simulation requirements and architecture.
• Integrate, verify, and validate subsystem truth simulation models into a vehicle-level simulation.
• Develop, verify, and validate complex models and simulations (6-DOF, effects-based).
• Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and verify requirements.
• Perform studies, analyses, and test activities.
• Support ground and flight test efforts (HWIL).
• Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings.
