Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a Lead for Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) on SDA programs. You will establish GNC solutions and serve as the primary technical lead for GNC design, analysis, and verification activities.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in aerospace with deep GNC expertise, MATLAB/Simulink proficiency, and experience leading cross-disciplinary teams; US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

Experience leading small engineering teams and coordinating daily tasks, budgets, and schedules.
Broad technical skills including rigid body dynamics, control theory, and computer programming.
Experience developing flight vehicle GNC architectures and conducting performance/simulation analyses.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead engineers supporting GNC algorithm development and test activities across the program.
Provide technical and management oversight to GNC planning, requirements, software verification and validation activities.
Serve as the primary liaison with other engineering disciplines and customer teams; drive cross-disciplinary collaboration.
