Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a motivated intern to design GNC solutions for autonomous systems, using control theory and applied math. You will build, test, and refine GNC control laws in VMS software and develop vehicle simulations to support design tradeoffs.

REQUIRED: pursuing a degree in robotics, CS, EE, or related fields; able to return to school; U.S. person for access control. 12-week in-person summer 2027 at one of our offices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Robotics, CS, EE, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Strong foundation in control theory and dynamics for autonomous systems.
• Experience with Kalman filters and state estimation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design GNC solutions using control theory and applied mathematics for autonomous systems.
• Build and test GNC control laws in vehicle management system software.
• Create vehicle simulation models to inform design trades and margins.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functions.
