Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an ambitious intern to join its GNC team for a 12-week summer program in Australia. You will design and test control laws, build simulation models, and collaborate across engineering teams on real projects.

The role requires pursuing a degree in Robotics, CS, EE, Mechatronics, or related fields, with return to university after the internship. Australian security clearance is required; relocation or travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing tertiary education in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one term.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in summer 2026.

Responsibilities

• Use principles of control theory, applied physics, and applied mathematics to design GNC solutions for Anduril’s autonomous systems
• Design, build, and test GNC control laws in VMS (vehicle management system) software
• Build vehicle simulation models to inform design trades, assess system capabilities, and establish system margins
• Contribute to the development of new capabilities to enhance existing products or bring capabilities and technologies to market
• Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality
• Work on real, meaningful projects and learn from experienced professionals along the way

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
