Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector invites you to join a GE-focused GNC engineering team in Dulles, VA or McLean, VA. This 100% onsite role supports spacecraft subsystems for DoD, NASA, and commercial customers, with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off.

The position emphasizes GNC hardware design, testing, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to define the art of the possible from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to obtain a DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant engineering experience or Master’s degree with minimal experience.
• Experience in GNC subsystem design, analysis, and testing; ADCS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and testing of GNC hardware components.
• Lead supplier meetings for GNC hardware procurement.
• Support lifecycle tracking and action items for GNC hardware.
• Perform trade studies for GNC hardware in proposals.
• Review GNC requirements through compliance matrices with subsystems.
