Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer to advance navigation system design for autonomous aerospace platforms. You will develop, test, and integrate navigation architectures for INS/GNSS, vision-based sensing, and sensor fusion across subsonic to hypersonic systems, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will apply Extended Kalman filters and real-time embedded software knowledge, supporting flight tests and navigation performance validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in MATLAB & Simulink, C/C++.
• Strong knowledge of navigation principles including inertial navigation and GPS.
• Experience characterizing and testing INS/GNSS, vision-based sensing and odometry.
• Experience with navigation system design on aerospace systems and Kalman filtering.

Responsibilities

• Lead navigation system design for Anduril products with cradle-to-grave ownership.
• Analyze mission requirements to determine optimal navigation architecture.
• Support evaluation and integration of navigation aids with lab, motion, and flight tests.
• Support flight testing to validate navigation performance against requirements.
• Develop algorithms for navigation, guidance, and control including EKF.
