Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a skilled GNC engineer to develop, integrate, and test guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for defense-grade systems in Costa Mesa, California. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across design, software, and test to ensure robust performance and mission readiness.

The role requires strong background in dynamics and control, proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in a related field as listed in the qualifications.
• 3+ years of experience in Guidance, Navigation & Control engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of classical and modern control theory, estimation and filtering.
• Experience with flight-system GNC development and MATLAB/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test algorithms for guidance, navigation, and control systems.
• Design, implement, and assess GNC architectures for spacecraft with sensors and actuators.
• Use MDAO techniques for design optimization balancing performance, cost, and risk.
• Participate in all phases of system development from concept to prototype and operation.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, flight software, and test engineers for integration.
• Contribute to design reviews, safety assessments, and system documentation.
• Use simulation tools to verify GNC models and system performance under varying conditions.
• Provide system engineering expertise to ensure cohesive design and implementation.
