Job summary

Archer in San Jose is seeking a GNC Controls Intern to join its summer internship program. You will work closely with the Guidance Navigation and Control team to support the development, testing, and integration of GNC systems into Archer aircraft.

This 10-week, full-time internship targets seniors or graduate students in engineering or computer science. MATLAB and Simulink experience is a plus, and strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program related to engineering or computer science.
• Coursework in physics, flight dynamics, aerodynamics, optimization, feedback controls, and/or linear algebra.
• Strong academic performance in relevant coursework.
• Comfortable with MATLAB and/or Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, testing, and implementation of GNC systems into Archer aircraft.
• Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting, offering innovative solutions.
• Research engineering topics, analyze data, and present insights to inform project decisions.
