Terran Orbital in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced AIT Technician – GNC Module Assembly to assemble and test Guidance, Navigation & Control spacecraft components. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will follow detailed procedures, operate hand tools, and support integration activities in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on electromechanical assembly experience, can read blueprints and schematics, and are proficient with Windows 10 and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years hands-on electromechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read detailed work instructions, blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with Windows 10, MS Office and internet browsers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of soldering tools and IPC 620 standards preferred.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test GNC spacecraft components per procedures.
• Operate hand tools, torque wrenches and light power tools.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate statuses to the support engineering team.
• Update documentation and hardware statuses through online services.
• Assist in spacecraft integration activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace.
• Perform lab duties such as kitting, inventory and organization.
• Stand for extended periods and perform other assigned tasks.
