Job summary

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced AIT Technician to join our team in Irvine, CA. You will assemble, check out, and maintain EGSE systems, test racks, and related infrastructure for spacecraft production.

The role includes wire harness routing, documentation updates, and support for spacecraft integration under the supervision of the Director, Systems Integration & Test. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in electromechanical assembly or spacecraft hardware, familiarity with EGSE, and the

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on as a technician in electromechanical assembly or spacecraft hardware
• Experience with EGSE, test racks, or similar electrical support systems preferred
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD clearance

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and maintain EGSE systems and test racks per procedures
• Perform electrical checkout, verification, and functional tests
• Troubleshoot avionics, electrical issues, and EGSE faults
• Backfill wire harness routing and fabrication as needed
• Operate hand tools and power equipment
• Update documentation and track hardware statuses
• Support spacecraft integration activities using EGSE interfaces
• Maintain clean, ESD-safe work areas and comply with safety rules
