Job summary

Pleasant View Healthcare Center is recruiting for a part-time Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our nursing team as we transition under new management with CommuniCare. We offer a supportive, patient-centered work environment and opportunities to grow within a large family of facilities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an approved Nurse Aide Training Program, the ability to make independent decisions, and desirable healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Prior work/life experiences involving independent decision making.
• Prior experience in a healthcare environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift.
• Provide personal/nursing care in accordance with resident care plan.
• Facilitate and conduct activities.
• Monitor and respond to resident requests and needs in a dignified and respectful manner.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents.
• Assist in preparing residents for various activities within and outside the center.
