Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a qualified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to join our skilled nursing neighborhood. Under licensed supervision, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality daily living support to residents, prioritizing safety, dignity, and comfort.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility, monitor residents’ well‑being, and report changes promptly to licensed staff to support proactive, personalized care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current State certification for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Current CPR certification (or obtain within three months of employment).

Responsibilities

• Delivers compassionate, high-quality care to residents within the skilled nursing neighborhood.
• Provides direct, hands-on assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, mobility).
• Monitors residents' physical and emotional well-being and reports changes promptly to licensed nursing staff.
