Job summary

Pleasant View Healthcare Center is seeking Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) on a PRN basis as new management leads the team. The center emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and a supportive work environment for staff and residents.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care per care plans, documenting activities, and maintaining a clean, respectful setting. Training and orientation will be provided to maintain certification and high quality care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Prior work/life experiences involving independent decision making.
• Prior experience in a healthcare environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal/nursing care in accordance with the resident care plan.
• Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift.
• Maintain resident documentation records for activities of daily living and restorative programs.
• Create a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents.
• Assist in preparing residents for activities within and outside the center.
• Monitor and respond to resident requests in a dignified and respectful manner.
