Your Role

As a GMP Warehouse Operator 2 at our Cherokee site, you will be vital in receiving all incoming materials, supplies, and equipment, and fulfilling internal customer orders through activities like receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of Life Science materials. Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving materials, products, and equipment, and storing them in the warehouse in an organized manner according to process procedures
  • Auditing inventory locations to maintain accuracy
  • Contributing to quality and safety through effective warehouse operations
  • Maintaining warehouse areas
  • Collaborating with team leads and supervisors to troubleshoot issues
  • Reporting hazards to supervisors and in CR360
  • Unloading trailers using power equipment, verifying freight, and signing bills of lading
  • Sorting, inspecting, and receiving items in SAP system
  • Using RF scanners or computer systems to put product away
  • Resolving product issues with Procurement
Shift hours

10:00am – 6:00pm Monday through Friday

Physical Attributes
  • Wearing PPE such as safety shoes, glasses, and gloves
  • Lifting/moving up to 40 pounds unassisted; over 50 with assistance
  • Operating powered industrial equipment
  • Standing and moving for extended periods
  • Working in extreme climates
  • Climbing stairs/ladders and walking long distances
  • Handling heavy objects with equipment
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience
  • Understanding of GMP and compliance
  • Detail-oriented with good documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Dangerous Goods Shipping Certification
  • Teamwork and independence skills
