Job summary

Alkermes in Cincinnati, OH seeks a temporary GMP Inspector to inspect vialed product and glass vials for defects and to perform label and packaging tasks for finished products. The role follows SOPs, prepares equipment, and supports documentation and recordkeeping in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will train to vial inspector procedures, ensure cGMP compliance, and assist other manufacturing functions as needed. High school diploma and 0-1 year sterile pharma experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic training on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in pharma is required or preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-1 year of experience in a sterile pharmaceutical operation preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in a science/technical discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vialed product and empty glass for defects.
• Perform daily process activities in compliance with SOPs.
• Prepare equipment and glassware for use in assigned areas.
• Assist in writing and implementing area process documents.
• Operate equipment in compliance with SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Work non-routine hours to maintain production schedule.
• Perform label and packaging activities for finished product.
• Complete and review production records and daily trending.
• Train new inspectors per vial inspector certification procedures.
• Assist other manufacturing functions as required.
