• Perform necessary documentation as needed.
• Will fully gown up when working in the lab.
• Help keep track of inventory in the lab.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are hiring for multiple GMP Laboratory Assistants! here in the Columbus, Ohio area! This is a long-term career opportunity for individuals with GMP regulated laboratory or manufacturing experience, and whom do not have a Bachelors Degree. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, GED, or Associates Degree and experience working in a GMP regulated environment.

Shift: 1st shift, primarily Monday - Friday, but candidates must be flexible to work overtime and/or weekends as necessary

Job Description

The GMP Technician will be supporting a Pharmaceutical/Biotech laboratory that is GMP regulated. The role will primarily focus on supporting the lab with various functions as needed, such as prepping samples, performing documentation, maintaining inventory, preparing solutions, preparing raw materials, and helping to support other functions as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Will essentially be working as an assistant to the Scientists helping to support various different tasks in the lab.

• Will help setup any testing that needs to be run in the lab.

• Will help setup cell lines in the lab.

• Help prepare solutions for the lab.

• Will help perform any cleaning duties in the lab as needed.

• Perform necessary documentation as needed.

• Will fully gown up when working in the lab.

• Help keep track of inventory in the lab.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree in a Science preferred.

• Must have experience working in a GMP regulated environment.

• Bachelors Degreed Candidates will NOT be considered for this role, but feel free to apply as we have other roles available that would fit individuals with a Bachelors Degree in a science.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
