Top Gum North America is seeking a reliable Shift Cleaner to join our sanitation team in Copiague, NY. The role focuses on maintaining GMP-compliant cleanliness in production areas, operating a large dishwasher, and safely handling cleaning chemicals.

The position suits individuals who work well independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior sanitation experience in food production or GMP settings is a plus.

Competenze

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing cleaning/sanitation is a strong asset.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English; effective oral communication required.

Mansioni

• Clean production areas to GMP standards (floors, walls, surfaces).
• Operate an industrial dishwasher for production tools.
• Handle detergents, sanitizers, and acids safely and prepare cleaning solutions.
• Use floor scrubbers, scrapers, pressure washers, brushes and related tools.
• Replenish handwashing stations and PPE; maintain sanitation logs.
• Dispose of waste per site procedures and report issues promptly.
