Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Sample Management Specialist to verify submissions to Quality Control, document transactions in LIMS, and manage sample handling, storage, and shipment. You will interact with clients and internal teams, fulfill pull requests, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Verify sample submissions to Quality Control.
• Document sample transactions in LIMS.
• Handle, store, and organize samples.
• Deliver samples to QC laboratories for testing.
• Interact with outside customers and peers.
• Fulfill sample pull requests.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct temperature, environmental, and CO2 monitoring.
• Prepare samples for shipment.
• Perform sample inventory and disposal.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs; report anomalies via Deviation Notification and Resolution system.
• Lead a team of Sample Management Specialists in a regulated facility.
• Coordinate and monitor team performance to meet client deadlines.
• Communicate status with client contacts and set timelines.
• Set team goals and develop scope of work.
• Manage time off and payroll entries.
• Participate in new hire interviews and onboarding.
• Train other employees.
