Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Rensselaer, NY, is seeking a Sample Management Specialist to support a regulated lab environment on the 3rd shift.

You will verify sample submissions, document transactions in LIMS, handle and ship samples, and coordinate with clients while guiding team efforts to meet tight deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Verify sample submissions to Quality Control.
• Document sample transactions in LIMS.
• Handle, store, and organize samples.
• Deliver samples to QC laboratories for testing.
• Interact with customers and peer groups; fulfill pull requests.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct monitoring (temperature, environmental, CO2).
• Prepare samples for shipment and manage inventory.
• Lead a team of Sample Management Specialists and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with client contacts to communicate status and priorities.
