Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a QC Lab Assistant to support the GMP Shared Resource Core Facility. The role involves building, compiling, and trending QC test results to enable product releases and to support cell and gene therapy manufacturing.

Responsibilities include coordinating QC lab activities, maintaining documentation, and contributing to quality systems and data management. Applicants should hold a related bachelor’s degree and have 3+ years of relevant experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in QC lab or related role.
• Experience with qPCR, PCR, flow cytometry, DNA extraction and cell-based assays.
• CRISPR gene editing, single-cell cloning.
• Drafting SOPs, planning experiments, data analysis and trending.
• GLP conditions and lab equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and associated software.

Responsibilities

• Build, compile, review and trend test results to support release of cell and gene therapy products.
• Plan and coordinate QC lab activities and maintain accurate test records and logs.
• Support cell therapy operations and contribute to quality systems and data management.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Development and QA teams to ensure compliance.
