Job summary

Eurofins PSS is hiring a QC Analytical Chemist to support GMP testing of pharmaceutical in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples in Albany, NY. The role involves investigations of invalid results and method transfer activities, requiring high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Candidates should have a BS or MS in a relevant field with GMP/GLP experience and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with GMP/GLP testing experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience with Liquid Chromatography (LC), Conductivity, and Titration.
• Proven exposure to two or more of NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA.
• Knowledge of GMPs, ICH, and 21 CFR guidelines.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and review in accordance with approved methods and GMP requirements.
• Follow GMP regulations and ICH guidelines.
• Test pharmaceutical samples including in-process materials, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples.
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies.
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results.
• Utilize analytical techniques including NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, and TGA.
• Reference standard qualification and management.
• Perform elemental impurities and residual solvent testing and review.
