Job summary

Eurofins PSS is hiring a QC Analytical Chemist to support GMP testing of pharmaceutical in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples in Albany. You will ensure accuracy, follow GMP/ICH guidelines, and assist with investigations.

Requires 3+ years GMP/GLP experience, LC/Conductivity/Titration, and proficiency with NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, RI, and TGA. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or Life Sciences with 3+ years GMP/GLP testing experience.
• MS in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field with 1+ years GMP/GLP testing experience.
• At least 1 year of industry LC, Conductivity, and Titration experience.
• Experience with NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA.
• Knowledge of GMPs, ICH, and 21 CFR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and review per approved methods, specifications, protocols, and compendial requirements.
• Follow GMP regulations, including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, and applicable ICH guidelines.
• Test pharmaceutical samples including in-process, raw materials, intermediates, API, stability.
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies.
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results.
• Utilize various analytical techniques including NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, TGA.
