Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions seeks a Permit & Communications Lead to drive permitting governance, regulatory strategy, and stakeholder engagement for a GMP manufacturing program in Huntsville, Alabama. This role interfaces with regulators, clients, and external partners to secure approvals and ensure project compliance through all phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with strong regulatory exposure.
10+ years supporting permitting, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory programs on large capital projects.
Experience directing permitting consultants and regulatory contractors; leadership in governance.

Responsibilities

Lead permitting, regulatory engagement, stakeholder management, and communications strategies across all project phases.
Serve as primary interface with regulators, local authorities, utilities, and community groups.
Oversee permits, licenses, environmental authorizations, and regulatory approvals.
Establish governance, schedules, and reporting for timely approvals and compliance.
Coordinate with engineering, environmental, construction, and operations teams on permitting needs.
