Aerotek is hiring a Packer in Piscataway, NJ to support packaging operations in a refrigerated food manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes GMP/HACCP compliance, sanitation, traceability, and quality; you will prepare items for shipment and assist on the production line.

Ideal candidates are reliable team players with strong communication, attention to detail, and flexibility to work multiple shifts. Prior experience in packaging or food processing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, packaging in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Experience monitoring production and QA/traceability reports.
• Comfort in a cleanroom or controlled environment with strict hygiene.
• Attention to detail when inspecting products and packaging for quality.
• Ability to handle and lift product bars safely.
• Familiarity with packaging, inspection, and inventory staging processes.

Responsabilités

• Follow GMP and HACCP safety procedures and company programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.
• Operate and monitor packaging machinery per procedures and safety guidelines.
• Report food quality or safety issues to a supervisor promptly.
• Setup, adjust, and change over equipment per production schedules.
• Conduct regular quality checks of packaged goods against standards.
• Monitor production guidelines and specifications consistently.
• Monitor packaging materials and supplies and replenish as needed.
• Report machine failures with type and frequency details.
• Organize inventory, stage packing materials and finished goods.
• Prepare items for shipment, including packing, labeling, and QA traceability.
• Inspect products in a cleanroom or controlled environment for defects.
• Work on a production line to meet daily output and quality targets.
• Clean and maintain workstation and surrounding area per safety standards.
