Job summary

Datwyler is seeking a Production Operator to run and monitor packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures GMP compliance, regulatory standards and company procedures, while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency.

It is part of the Moulding & Trimming Department and involves operating manual and semi-automatic compression moulding/trimming machines to produce moulded sheets from preform rubber compounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read and write English to understand procedures and complete documentation.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills.
• Performs basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment in a GMP environment.
• Ensure equipment is safe, clean and well maintained; follow SOPs and WI’s.
• Meet productivity standards and report issues to supervisor.
• Train new operators when requested and participate in meetings and trainings.
• Follow safety regulations and promote a safe workplace.
• Assist in process improvements and adhere to quality systems.
