Job summary

EyePoint is seeking a Manufacturing Associate II to execute manufacturing, assembly, labeling, packaging and inspection of combination products in a GMP environment. This fully trained operator works with minimal supervision and supports process improvements and training of junior associates to meet production, quality, and compliance goals.

The role requires knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or combination product manufacturing preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment and documenting activities in GMP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing, assembly, labeling, packaging, and inspection per procedures and schedules.
• Independently execute manufacturing operations ensuring GMP/GDP compliance.
• Complete batch records, logbooks, and production documentation accurately.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct in-process inspections and verify product quality.
• Perform line clearances, room preparation, and changeovers.
• Assist with material handling, staging, issuing, and reconciliation of materials.
• Identify and escalate process deviations, equipment issues, quality concerns, and safety risks.
• Support deviation investigations, CAPAs, and root cause analyses.
• Participate in process validation, equipment qualification, and manufacturing engineering as needed.
• Train and mentor junior personnel on procedures, equipment operation, documentation practices, and GMP expectations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for quality, efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, Supply Chain and others to maintain readiness and compliance.
