Job summary

MilliporeSigma's Cherokee Site in St. Louis, MO, is hiring a GMP Manufacturing Technician 4 for day shift to support 12‑hour operations (6:00 am–6:30 pm) with a 5% shift differential.

You will prepare buffer formulations, maintain clean manufacturing areas, and execute tasks in compliance with cGMPs, GDP, and Good Documentation Practices. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of pharma GMP experience; preferred candidates have prior pharma manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months' experience in a pharmaceutical GMP operations environment (Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, knowledge of Good Documentation Practices).

Responsibilities

• Prepare buffer formulations for Drug Substance manufacturing with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas and perform routine cleaning.
• Execute and document daily tasks following cGMPs and GDP standards.
• Follow approved SOPs and document activities per GDP guidance.
• Maintain logbooks per procedure.
• Dispose cleaning and process waste safely according to procedures.
• Maintain stock of supplies and gowning using Kanban.
• Assist in quality deviations as needed.
• Perform safety inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in procedures to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Support process improvements, safety and training of new employees, and daily departmental goals.
