Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks a GMP Manufacturing Support Supervisor on Day Shift at Cherokee site, St. Louis. You will lead the buffer manufacturing and training activities, ensuring cGMP compliance and coordination across key functions. Manage equipment, facilities, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will guide an engaged team, drive process improvements, and partner with QA, PM, and Engineering to meet regulatory and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or Engineering required.
• 2+ years of life science manufacturing experience in a cGMP setting.
• 1+ year of Management, Supervisory, or Lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead production scientists and operators in scale-up, tech transfer, and cGMP buffer manufacturing.
• Oversee facility cleanliness, equipment staging, waste disposal, and related manufacturing support.
• Develop staff knowledge and skills to improve performance and achieve department objectives.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, site procedures, batch records, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PM, Quality, Engineering, and other teams to meet goals.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective/preventive actions.
