Job summary

Actalent is seeking a GMP Technician to support production and quality control in a cGMP environment. This entry-level contract role focuses on following procedures, maintaining a clean lab, and accurate documentation. Training is provided with potential to convert to direct hire based on business needs.

The position is based in Grove City, OH, with first shift hours 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A strong emphasis on safety, GMP/GDP/GLP principles, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• Follow written work instructions, safety rules, and SOPs.
• Comfort working in a GMP cleanroom laboratory environment.
• Basic computer skills and data entry for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Follow all quality and production procedures to ensure products meet cGMP standards.
• Adhere to detailed work instructions to produce products for manufacturing.
• Perform routine quality checks on equipment and instruments.
• Comply with safety standards and wear PPE.
• Clean and maintain laboratory and production equipment and areas.
• Complete batch documentation per local procedures and GDP requirements.
• Operate basic software including Microsoft Office and QMS for documentation.
• Work independently and with the team to meet goals.
• Follow safety guidelines when handling potentially biohazard materials.
• Participate in GDP/GMP/GLP training and apply it daily.
• Use hand tools for assembly, packaging, inspection, and maintenance.
• Support lab cleanup and ISO/GMP compliance.
