Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a facility maintenance technician to support building operations and GMP-compliant maintenance activities. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory adherence, and coordination with site stakeholders.

You will perform maintenance on lab and production equipment, read technical drawings, and assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural tasks while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a maintenance function, preferably in a facility maintenance setting.
• High School Diploma or GED; continuing education courses/certificates in trades are preferred.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, mechanical maintenance, welding, grinding or related skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site safety and environmental compliance.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on PRD, QC equipment including 800-raws and 810-IPC, and ARD systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and initiate repairs per regulatory and cGMP requirements using OEM manuals and specifications.
• Read prints, schematics, piping diagrams, technical manuals, and related documentation.
• Maintain equipment readiness and documentation for certification of accuracy.
• Assist in building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural repairs as needed.
• Ensure GMP, GDP, SOPs and quality systems compliance.
