Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs and cleaning procedures.
• Perform daily/periodic cleaning in assigned areas.

• Keep cleaning equipment in good condition and report issues.
• Maintain supplies in janitorial closets and storage spaces.
• Operate safely and report hazards to management.
• Assist in training new employees as directed.
• Ensure doors are secured after hours.
• Clean floors, restrooms, and trash/recycling areas.
• Handle spills promptly with proper equipment.
• Complete other cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain building cleanliness and general upkeep.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a responsible and quality-driven GMP Cleaner to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting a manufacturing facility; specialized training will be required. To work well in this role, you should already have previous manufacturing cleaning experience and some advanced cleaning skills as well. The successful candidate will possess high levels of energy, strong organizational skills, and pride in delivering excellent service.

GMP Cleaner Responsibilities:

• Follow allStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas
• Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition, and notifies the Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary
• Maintains appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas
• Works safelyat all timesand promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area
• Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed
• Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed
• Adheres to proper security procedures
• Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the customer
• Performs other cleaning-related duties as required
• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Cleaning and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriateequipment.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.

GMP Cleaner Requirements:

• 2-3 yearsof previousmanufacturing cleaningexperiencerequired.
• 6months to1year ofadvancedcleaning skills, such as hard floor and carpet maintenance, required.
• Ability to speak, write and read English ispreferredand may be required by some customers.
• Ability toliftupto 50lbs
• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Able to work independently or with a team.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
