Job summary

CSI International Inc. is seeking a Full-Time GMP General Cleaner (AM Shift) for our Harvard, MA facility. You will support a manufacturing environment with SOPs, cleaning protocols and safety requirements.

Prior manufacturing cleaning experience and some advanced cleaning skills are preferred, along with strong energy, organization, and reliability. The role requires 2–3 years of cleaning experience, 6 months to 1 year of advanced cleaning skills, English literacy, ability to lift 50 lbs, and

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of manufacturing cleaning experience required.
• 6 months to 1 year of advanced cleaning skills (e.g., floor and carpet maintenance) required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Time management and ability to work with or without supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs and perform daily/periodic cleaning tasks.
• Keep work areas and closets neat and stocked.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs.
• Ensure supplies are stocked in closets and storage areas.
• Work safely and report unsafe conditions.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Assist in training new employees as directed.
• Adhere to security procedures.
• Notify management of problems or opportunities.
• General cleaning of the building and maintenance.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean restrooms.
• Empty trash/recycling; ensure doors locked after hours.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a responsible and quality-driven GMP Cleaner to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting a manufacturing facility; specialized training will be required. To work well in this role, you should already have previous manufacturing cleaning experience and some advanced cleaning skills as well. The successful candidate will possess high levels of energy, strong organizational skills, and pride in delivering excellent service.

GMP Cleaner Responsibilities:

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas
• Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition, and notifies the Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary
• Maintains appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas
• Works safely at all times and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area
• Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed
• Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed
• Adheres to proper security procedures
• Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the customer
• Performs other cleaning-related duties as required
• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Cleaning and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.

GMP Cleaner Requirements:

• 2-3 years of previous manufacturing cleaning experience required.
• 6 months to 1 year of advanced cleaning skills, such as hard floor and carpet maintenance, required.
• Ability to speak, write and read English is preferred and may be required by some customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Able to work independently or with a team.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
